Acoustics and Ultrasound

In our laboratory, we conduct classical acoustic and ultrasound experiments using a water tank and specified ultrasonic transducers for diverse types of characterization. Our lab is equipped with highly accurate built-in linear stages that offer position accuracy up to 40 nm, ensuring precision in all measurements.

We perform acoustic experiments utilizing both in-house single-element ultrasonic transducers and commercially available ultrasonic transducers for transmission and reception. Additionally, we use broadband hydrophones for reception to facilitate probe characterization and other measurements.

For advanced acoustic measurements, we integrate external systems like Verasonics and u4us into our setup, providing enhanced capabilities to our clients. This integration allows us to offer comprehensive and precise acoustic measurement solutions tailored to the specific needs of our clients.
