Meet us

Posted on March, 26th, 2024

Together with our partners, we recently presented the progress of the OLE project at the Statusseminar "Photonik in den Lebenswissenschaften" in Berlin. This event, organized by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), brought together numerous photonics projects to discuss advancements and network with researchers from both academia and industry.

The OLE project, funded by the BMBF, focuses on using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) to tackle cholesteatoma in otitis media. We showcased significant results of this ongoing project, highlighting our approach to enhancing the early detection and treatment of this middle ear condition through the precision and non-invasiveness of OCT technology.

The Berlin meeting was a prime opportunity to exchange insights with fellow researchers working on diverse photonics applications, from medical diagnostics to environmental monitoring. For more information on the Statusseminar and the range of projects presented, you can read the full report on the Photonik Forschung Deutschland website.

This collaborative environment fosters innovation and ensures that we are all pushing the boundaries of photonics in life sciences, driving towards practical and impactful applications that can significantly benefit society.
